Argentina: Action in solidarity with anarchist prisoners on hunger strike
from infoshop, 21 February 2008: On the night of February 18 2008, paint-bombs were thrown at a branch of the Itaú bank located at Corrientes and Mario Bravo in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as an extension of the struggle of anarchist prisoners who are beginning a hunger strike in various countries.
On February 10, anarchist prisoner Marco Camenisch released a public statement saying that he and some other anarchist prisoners have called for a hunger strike to take place between 18th and 29th February 2008 as part of the permanent struggle against all prisons and repression, isolation, torture, and life sentences. more

The Aachen 2 are the anarchists Gabriel Pombo da Silva and Jose Fernandez Delgado, who both served many years time in the notorious and inhuman isolation custody system F.I.E.S. in Spain. more

Gabriel is an anarchist who along with another, Jose Fernandez Delgado, escaped from the brutal F.I.E.S prison system of the Spanish State. Gabriel and Jose are now residing in the jails of Germany, after attempting to escape a police control on the Belgium/German border. more

Aachen 4: Solidarity needed for hunger striker in German prison
Jose Fernandez Delgado is an anarchist who spent more than 20 years in Spanish prisons, 14 in the infamous FIES-isolation regime, known for its brutality and systematic torture. He escaped and was arrested with three others in Aachen (Germany) in June 2004, and condemned to 14 years of prison in Germany (more info below). He has since made a hunger strike, which lasted 13 days. The last four days he did not drink either. None of his demands were responded to. more

On June, 28 2004, four people were arrested in Aachen, Germany, after a shooting with the police and hostage-taking, while attempting to escape a police control. These four persons are Bart De Geeter, José Fernandez Delgado, Gabriel Pombo da Silva and Begoña Pombo da Silva. more

Police Review: magazine cartoon - "In staggeringly poor taste"
from J4J campaign, 18 November 2008: We would imagine that, in the midst of the inquest into the death of Jean Charles de Menezes, publications aimed at and widely read by serving police officers would show greater sensitivity in the way they talk about fatal shootings by the police. But evidently not. The magazine "Police Review", in its 14 November edition, decided that the introduction of new rules preventing firearms officers from conferring after a shooting was best illustrated by this appalling cartoon. more
