Ukraine: Call out for 2007 No Border Camp
from email: The camp will take place from the 11th to the 20th of August 2007 in the main region of transit and labor migration in Ukraine: Transcarpathia.
The condition of the refugees in Ukraine is very unstable: freedom of movement is restricted; it is hard to get a job or medical care, and no social security is provided. When one gets refugee status, the only support they get from the state is a single payment of a petty 3 euros. more
NYC: Re-igniting a Cross-border Anarchist Network

Recently, at the Zapatista Encuentro, anarchists from across Mexico, including anarchists involved with APPO in Oaxaca, declared their desire for a continental cross-border network for solidarity, mutual aid, and direct action. Let's get together to discuss this network proposal! more
Police Mar Peaceful Protest Against DRC Deportations in Solihull
Over 200 people protested on Thursday, 12 April, at the immigration reporting centre in Solihull, near Birmingham, against deportations to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The peaceful protest was marred by a large police presence and was penned into Sandford House's car park. But protesters then broke off and blockaded the road for about 2 hours.
Two people were arrested, one also assaulted by an aggressive cop. They were released later on but only because their fellow protesters, in an empowering show of solidarity, refused to leave the site before they were released. more

Information for making visa applications for Germany
The best would be, when the sponsors are organisations, Astas or some social unions, because then they always have a proper reason to invite people for informational lectures at specific times and dates..etc.
Sponsors should have a steady income for at least the last three months and it shouldnt be less the 750 euros. For self-employed sponsors, it is also possible, but it would mean more paperwork, because you have to prove that you own the money, and you have to present invoices (with the exception of doctors and lawyers). more
