from friends, 3 October 2009: "This year's London Anarchist Bookfair will be held on Saturday 24th October 2009, from 10am to 7pm. The venue for this year's London Anarchist Bookfair, for the 3rd year running, is Queen Mary & Westfield College, Mile End Road, London, E1 4NS.

This year, apart from the wide variety of anarchist groups and individuals having meetings, we are hoping to have a few surprises. Watch this space.

We need help publicising the bookfair far and wide this year. We want to get more people along to find out what we all do and say. We want to aim at those who may not have heard much about anarchism, apart from the rubbish on the TV... more

Come in fancy dress, the theme is the ghost’s of the east end returning, so anything from a street urchin, suffragette, pirate, plague victim, magician to opium addict. Best dressed wins a prize!
