Although it is generally accepted that we do not have the capacity to stop the Olympics, the question nevertheless remains as to how to organise effective resistance to the Olympic project, using the spectacle of the Games to both strengthen existing networks and create alternative structures... more

It's a warm-up/benfit for the main event on June 13th 2009. Callout - anybody / group wishing to do a stall / workshop etc please contact us.
Physical stuff such as 12 volt stuff, practical squatting etc would be particularly nice.
Anti fascist, arms-trade, eco campaigns, prisoner support, class warfare, alt journals, animal rights, anti-capitalist stalls and presentations/worshops welcome. more
Report from "Reclaim The Future 4", 31 March 2007
Posted 3 April 2007: This is a personal reflection on what happened, mixed in with some reports collected fom eye-witnesses and participants.
There seems to be someone at Holloway Road police station who has it in for anarchists. Our most recent difficulties with the local pigs started when they blocked access to the RTF4 party just as it was starting.
RTF4 was going to be the biggest 'Reclaim The Future' yet, with 3 major rooms of live music, cabaret, comedy, DJs of all flavours.
Planned over 5 months by a random collective of sound systems, squatters, anarchists and activists, the all-day event was intended to feature practical workshops and discussions all day, followed by an all-night benefit party, all taking place in a welcoming, self-managed squatted space... more

RTF 4 starts at 1pm on Saturday with cafe, bar, chill, workshops followed by loadsa live bands, DJs and cabaret, Indymedia bar and films till 8am Sunday morning. more

Police Review: magazine cartoon - "In staggeringly poor taste"
from J4J campaign, 18 November 2008: We would imagine that, in the midst of the inquest into the death of Jean Charles de Menezes, publications aimed at and widely read by serving police officers would show greater sensitivity in the way they talk about fatal shootings by the police. But evidently not. The magazine "Police Review", in its 14 November edition, decided that the introduction of new rules preventing firearms officers from conferring after a shooting was best illustrated by this appalling cartoon. more
