Lund, Sweden: Mass squatting action videos, photos
from various sources, updated 29 May 2009:
On May 16th 2009, over 1000 people gathered to participate in the occupation movement festival in Lund, which featured food, music, entertainment and of course SQUATTING!
There's a longer report available here, with more photos and video links.
During Saturday 16 May two buildings, Bredgatan 4 and Observatory in the City Park were occupied, and during the Sunday night so were two unused buildings on the St Lars.
In addition to the imaginative tactics the activists used to outwit the cops, different blocks were subject to random and ordered police violence.
Making a comeback to street politics was the re-appearance of padded and white-suited protesters (Ya Basta-style (Italy) and WOMBLES-style (London) who use their block to push through static police lines.
You can see these in action in the photo galleries...

Police Review: magazine cartoon - "In staggeringly poor taste"
from J4J campaign, 18 November 2008: We would imagine that, in the midst of the inquest into the death of Jean Charles de Menezes, publications aimed at and widely read by serving police officers would show greater sensitivity in the way they talk about fatal shootings by the police. But evidently not. The magazine "Police Review", in its 14 November edition, decided that the introduction of new rules preventing firearms officers from conferring after a shooting was best illustrated by this appalling cartoon. more
