Summary of decentralized days of action for squats and autonomous spaces

A Call for decentralized days of action for squats and autonomous spaces has mobilized a number of actions throughout Europe so as to promote and disperse the ideas and ideals that created such places.

Their role in the autonomous movements, the experiment and projection of ideal communities and practices and other subjects are to be the main core around which discussions and other events will take place on the 11th and 12nd of April.

This is by no means a complete list.

ROTTERDAM (The Netherlands) - There will be a bicycle ride past some of the city's 400 plus squats Tour de Squat. Over the weekend there will be a crustpunk gig on Saturday and an eetcafe at the Poortgebouw on Sunday.

OSLO (Norway) - In Oslo we are preparing a reclaim the streets party to take back some public space on the Saturday 12th, at 16.00. There are also plans of bannerdropping from high buildings and even plans for a street theater.

DIJON (France) - 12th and 13th of april, there will be demonstrations, actions, a street party, autonomous zone and various squat related activities in defense of a local squat "le Mât noir", threatened of eviction by the city council, and various others around Europe.
