MAYDAY Magazine launch weekend: Fri 26 & Sat 27 October 07

MAYDAY Magazine is a newly published anarchist journal. It was formed out of the need to develop political and practical ideas around the movements we are involved in.

From anti-fascism, social centres, migrant and no border struggles to the legacies and histories of class struggle in the UK . The intention is to bring together all our experiences and bring radical anti-capitalist and anarchist ideas to a wider audience.

First issue includes articles: Mayday manifesto, Autonomous anti-fascism, tribe of wombles, Notes on No Borders, with contributions from Ian Bone, Dave Douglas, Trevor Bark (who will be in attendance on Friday to talk about the magazine).

Black flag over Ramparts: Successfully resisting illegal eviction attempt, 13 March 2009

from WAG, 18 March 2009: "Members of W.A.G were present at the attempted eviction of Ramparts Social Centre on Friday 13th March 2009. The following description was written by members of the Ramparts Collective:

"Yesterday there was an eviction attempt by owners at Rampart. It was a long battle but we are now back in full occupancy of the building. A big thank you to all those who came out in support.
