G8 Info Nights @ RampARTs, 6-8 June: films, footage, solidarity
++ G8 INFO NIGHT - WEDNESDAY 6TH JUNE
From 7pm at RampARTs, London E1.
An evening of films, information and updates on the progress of the mobilisations against the G8 summit. See the latest footage from Germany, discuss ways of showing our solidarity in London and across the UK.
Throughout the period of the summit, volunteers will be downloading video footage of the demonstrations and direct action in northern Germany and of solidarity actions around the world. Come down to RampARTs (London, E1) to catch up with the latest developments on the ground.
There will also be discussions on how we can show solidarity with the multiple mobilisations, especially if the repression is severe.
The situation in Germany will evolve rapidly. We should be prepared to 'move fast, strike harder'.
++ FOLLOW-UP G8 INFO NIGHT - THURSDAY 7TH JUNE

But evidently not. The magazine "Police Review", in its 14 November edition, decided that the introduction of new rules preventing firearms officers from conferring after a shooting was best illustrated by this appalling cartoon. more
