The Fuck the G8 Hip Hop EP
Posted 11:04 01 July 2005: The vinyl is aimed at discerning anarcho types, beat junkies, pikey chavs, estate kids and all the other members of the ASBO Generation
The Fuck the G8 Hip Hop EP is out now with a Limited pressing of 500 12" Vinyl. Its also available from konshussounds@graffiti.net on CD for a few quid.
It features two tunes by Manage and Syanyde Riot (full version, instro, acapella) and 1984 (which uses some ill lyrical flows to rip apart the world of secret handshakes inhabitated by bush n blair).
Also two tunes by female Mc Excentral The Tempest, Catalyst and Fuk the G8, a bit of a contrast but some super bad rapping with some heavy Konshus vibes.
The vinyl is aimed at discerning anarcho types, beat junkies, pikey chavs, estate kids and all the other members of the ASBO Generation.
This record is out because we dont seperate our culture and our politics.
We believe in using Musik as a weapon in the social struggle, to create a better world in the face of these G8 tyrants.
All the artists featured on the record are set to perform live on Monday 4th July at the rural convergence space in Sterling.
Konshussounds are selling the 12" vinyl out and about in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The 12" is also available at the Cowley Club in Brighton and Freedom Bookshop in Whitechapel and probably the 56a infoshop in elephant. Its also in ya specialist hip hop shops
