Latest information on G8 camps

from email, 23 May 2007: For the time of the protests against the G8 summit at Heiligendamm, we from the camp working group as the infrastructural basis for several thousands of activists have organised three camps in Reddelich close to Bad Doberan, in Rostock and in Wichmannsdiorf close to Kühlungsborn. A 4th camp will be announced on 2 June.  more

Resistant Art Festival + Camp

Information on the Resistant Art Festival, an extra camp for creativity, art and music. On the Free4 camp you will find several Sound Systems grouped in rigs, concerts, visual arts, performances, a spray wall,... But also videos and speeches about activism, repression and alternatives, an alternative media point to relate the infos on the net, an info point, workshops,... And of course food and drinks. more

German border controls to be re-introduced for G8 summit

We call on everybody to help us here in Rostock in continued construction and to help us with time, force and good mood. We depend on becoming more people at the school in order to be able to manage the tasks ahead of us. Next to supporters, we also still need material and support and tools of every kind. Decentralized Supply of Blockades - Support Needed!

In the time of the G8 Summit the access and logistic way to the Summit Resort will be blocked by many of us. This can lead us possibly in the situation that the blockading people will be exposed to conditions where they are depending on support and supply from the Camps.

We try to organize the decentralized supply through sending supply teams from the Camps to the Blockades. There they will accommodate our brave combatants with necessities such as food and drinks and possibly first aid.  more

Brandenburg police prepares for Condoleezza Rice's visit to Potsdam: even manholes are being welded shut. Berlin's black bloc, however, has not yet responded to the planned visit, but the police is worried about the 'militant group', which has been active in Brandenburg. more
